3 – DAYS: TARANGIRE, NGORONGORO CRATER & LAKE MANYARA
Experience Africa’s Big Five with game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara National Parks. Discover Tanzania’s wildlife-rich Northern Safari Circuit, where stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife await.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, your guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Where you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere – Tomorrow morning your safari will begin!
Tour Plan
Depart from Arusha at 8:00 AM and drive approximately 3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Often referred to as the "home of elephants," this park offers a great opportunity to spot large groups of elephants gathering around the Tarangire River. In addition to elephants, keep an eye out for leopards, lions, giraffes, and even tree-climbing pythons! Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic spot.
After your game drive, proceed to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your selected lodge or camp.

Spend a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot on the crater floor. After lunch, continue with game viewing before departing Ngorongoro in the late evening and returning to Karatu

Depart from your lodge in Karatu at 8:30 AM and drive approximately 1.5 hours to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is known for its diverse ecosystems, including Rift Valley landscapes, groundwater forest, lake, and dense woodland, all within a relatively small area of 325 km². The park is renowned for its spectacular birdlife, with over 400 species, and is also home to hippos, elephants, baboons, wildebeest, and the unique tree-climbing lions. After an extensive game drive, enjoy the sight of flamingos cascading across the lake.
Following your game drive, return to Arusha. If you have a flight, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
